I’m deeply honored that the people of this district elected me to represent them for the next two years in the Utah House of Representatives. Thank you to all of you who voted for me and supported me in other ways. Thank you as well to my opponent, Richard Bagley, who ran an honest and principled campaign. It takes courage to run and to put oneself out there in such a public way, and an open and honest debate about issues helps foster good policy and good government. Thank you most of all to my family: my fabulous, supportive, and endlessly patient wife, Becky, and my four terrific kids: Jordan, Sarah, Mary, and Christian.
Please keep an eye on this site for updates on various issues, and pay particular attention to the “events” tab as the session nears. I plan to hold at least two townhall meetings in early January to preview issues likely to come before the legislature this year. During the session (which begins in late January), I will hold one or more additional town hall meetings, likely in conjunction with your local state senator and/or a neighboring representative.
If you have issues of particular concern to you or expertise that you’re willing to share, please let me know!
